The Stages of Man

 Skinless and we had
raw emotion

 As adult, we got a
thicker skin

To protect us from sorrow

And disappointment

When we are old, we are back

To a child`s thin skin

We often cry and feel the pain of

Wars, hunger and pandemics

A child in its crib is lonely

He knows nothing of friendship

An old man is lonely too 

His friends are dead

So we are back to the beginning

That is also an ending
